Drilling down into specifics, the A18 Pro running in the iPhone 16 Pro Max achieves a frame rate of 55.5 FPS in Genshin Impact, according to in-depth tests performed by Geekerwan. Interestingly, the same SoC powering the smaller iPhone 16 Pro managed to reach 49.5 FPS, making the larger model 12% faster. This difference suggests that Apple’s new thermal solution effectively helps to dissipate heat in the larger devices. However, the situation is different for the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus, as the A18 in the smaller 6.1-inch model achieves a higher framerate than its larger 6.7-inch sibling.
In short, these tests seem quite interesting and demonstrate the efficiency of the A18 Pro chip.
