Yakuza Kiwami: new trailer ahead of the Switch release

Today, September 20, the RGG Summit took place, hosted by the Japanese team Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, focusing on the latest news from their most famous series, Like a Dragon (formerly Yakuza). The highlight was undoubtedly the reveal of Like a Dragon Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, but there was also news about an upcoming title for Switch: Yakuza Kiwami will be available on the Nintendo console starting October 24, and the team showcased a new trailer titled Play it Together, featuring Yasukaze Motomiya, the actor who played Kosei Shishido in Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. You can watch the trailer at the end of this article.

Below is a brief description of the game’s story:

1995, Kamurocho… Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, takes the blame for the murder of a crime boss to protect his best friend, Akira Nishikiyama, and his childhood friend, Yumi.

2005… Akira Nishikiyama is a different man. Yumi is nowhere to be found. Ten million yen has gone missing from the Tojo Clan’s coffers, and the members of the organization are on high alert. And when Kazuma Kiryu is released from prison, the world has changed.

Below, you can watch the new trailer for Yakuza Kiwami, remembering that the game will be available only digitally on Nintendo Switch from October 24.
