Ratatan

Ratatan: release window announced

Game Source Entertainment has announced, through a YouTube video, the release window for Ratatan, a side-scrolling rhythm game.

The game supports up to four players in online cooperative mode. Players can defeat enemies by sending commands to the Cobun in sync with the music, creating an adventure where battles blend rhythm with action. In addition to rhythmic attack and defense sequences, there are actions that allow characters to move freely, each with unique abilities. This further enriches the musical aspect of the game. Players can enter “fever mode” by accurately following the rhythmic sequences. In this mode, the background music changes interactively, and characters perform special actions. A Roguelike system will be present. In each adventure, Ratatan and its Cobun receive random upgrades and rewards after each battle. This ensures a continually different experience, with upgrades that variously affect gameplay mechanics, increasing strategic possibilities.

Ratatan will be released in 2025 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Below is the trailer showing more details about the game.
