Phasmophobia has reached 20 million copies sold

Just in time for Halloween, Kinetic Games has announced that Phasmophobia has surpassed 20 million copies sold globally on Steam, PS5/PS VR2, and Xbox Series X|S.

Born from the idea of solo developer Daniel Knight, Phasmophobia entered Early Access on Steam in September 2020 and quickly became a global phenomenon. On October 29, Kinetic Games launched the game in Early Access on consoles, and during that time, it has already sold 250,000 copies, adding to the total.

As stated by Knight, Managing Director and Lead Developer:

“We are absolutely thrilled to see Phasmophobia reach this incredible milestone of over 20 million copies sold. The journey has been nothing short of amazing, and it’s all thanks to our community of players who continue to share their passion for the game. We are excited to keep expanding the Phasmophobia experience and can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

The game is now available in Early Access on PC via Steam, PS5, PS VR2, and Xbox X/S for €19.50. The free Halloween event, Crimson Eye, is available to all players until November 13.
