Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is now available, along with a launch trailer

As of today, October 18, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants Unleashed is now available, and to celebrate this occasion, Outright Games, in collaboration with Paramount Studios (the game is based on the film), has released the launch trailer for this new adventure featuring the four turtles. Developed by A Heartful of Games, it is a 3D platform beat ’em up that is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. You can watch the launch trailer at the end of this article.

Here’s a general description of the game:

The game continues the storyline from the acclaimed Paramount Pictures film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, released in 2023, allowing players to take on the roles of the four turtle brothers as they uncover the mystery behind a new type of threat wreaking havoc in New York. Face off against 10 new mutants, or “Mewbies,” each with 5 different mutation forms that elevate the challenge. The game offers heart-pounding gameplay where you can utilize the unique weapons and fighting styles of the Turtles, from Mikey’s close-quarters fighter attacks to Donnie’s skilled staff wielding. The original voice cast from the film returns to voice the turtle brothers: Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Brady Noon as Raphael, Micah Abbey as Donatello, and Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo.

Stephanie Malham, CEO of Outright Games, stated:

“The anticipation from fans for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed has been high, and we are thrilled to finally release this game. With the help of our friends at Paramount and our talented developers at A Heartful of Games, we’ve captured the unique artistic style and humour of the film, delivering story-driven beat ’em up gameplay that stays true to the TMNT universe.”

Doug Rosen, SVP of Games and Emerging Media at Paramount, commented:

“The TMNT franchise has a rich history in the gaming world, and we can’t wait for fans to dive into this new storyline and explore this universe once again. The gameplay is fun and delivers the dynamic action players expect, and the narrative is engaging. We’re sure fans will be back in the sewers of New York once more.”
