Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe and Reflector Entertainment have unveiled “A Light Lies Within”, the theme song for Unknown 9 Awakening, co-written and performed by American singer BANKS.
As stated in the announcement, “This song reflects the journey of the game’s protagonist, Haroona, capturing her inner strength and quest for truth through its powerful lyrics.” To showcase this collaboration, a music video is now available that follows Haroona’s journey around the world, set to the rhythm of the song and BANKS’s lyrics, which you can watch at the bottom of the news.

You are Haroona, a Quaestor born with the ability to access a mysterious dimension that overlaps our own, known as the Reverse. On a journey to uncover powerful hidden knowledge, Haroona learns to master her unique connection to the Reverse, allowing her to use her abilities in our world. Such power does not go unnoticed: soon, Haroona becomes the target of the Ascendants, an organization that seeks to use the Reverse to alter the course of human history.
Unknown 9 Awakening will be available on October 18, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
