Nvidia: new titles supporting RTX technologies, new GeForce Game Ready Drivers, and an update for the NVIDIA app

This week, NVIDIA is introducing RTX technologies in several new titles, new GeForce Game Ready Drivers are on the way, and updates for the Nvidia App are set to be released to enhance user experience.

Over 600 games and applications feature RTX technologies, and each week, new titles are released or announced that incorporate NVIDIA’s DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex, and advanced ray tracing effects.

This week, five new titles support RTX technologies:

  • THRONE AND LIBERTY: NCSoft’s free-to-play MMORPG set in the vast world of Solisium. Players must make strategic decisions to survive, as weather conditions, the time of day, and other players affect the PVE and PVP battlefields. Although it’s already available in Korea, it will launch worldwide today. From day one, GeForce RTX players have been able to boost performance with DLSS 3, increasing average performance 2.6 times at 4K with all settings maxed.
  • Until Dawn: Confront your fears once again and decide who survives in this horror classic, Until Dawn, redesigned and enhanced for PC. Rebuilt with Unreal Engine 5, Until Dawn also offers PC players the chance to further enhance fidelity with ray-traced reflections and ray-traced ambient occlusion. If you play on a GeForce RTX 40 Series PC, you can also enable DLSS Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution to accelerate performance and make gameplay even more responsive when it releases on October 4th.
  • Starship Troopers: Extermination: Join the Deep Space Vanguard, an elite branch of the Mobile Infantry Special Forces, in the fight against the insect threat and claim victory for humanity. This 16-player co-op first-person shooter from Offworld Industries releases on October 11, and if you own a GeForce RTX 40 Series GPU or laptop, you can enable DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Super Resolution to assist you in battling the insect threat.
  • The Axis Unseen: This heavy metal horror game from Just Purkey Games invites players to hunt down nightmarish monsters from ancient folklore in a mysterious open world. Discover what happened to the hunters who came before you and what secrets they unveiled by inspecting their journals and sketches. Axis Unseen will launch on October 22 with support for DLSS 3 with Frame Generation and Reflex available from day one. You can now download the demo from Steam for a preview of the game.

The first Clan-based MechWarrior game combines compelling storytelling with well-crafted characters and moral dilemmas, culminating in a dynamic and adaptive combat experience, enhanced by an overhauled MechLab, Hardpoint, and OmniPod systems. It will release on October 17 with support for NVIDIA Reflex and DLSS 3 featuring DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS Frame Generation available from day one.

Nvidia RTX

Meanwhile, the NVIDIA app, a companion for gamers and creators with NVIDIA GPUs in their PCs and laptops, is getting an update. This new update, available now in-app and on our website, further enhances the NVIDIA app beta, adding G-SYNC controls, driver rollback, and more. Additionally, multi-monitor RTX HDR support is introduced, which activates once our new GeForce Game Ready Drivers are installed. Whether you’re a gaming enthusiast or a content creator, the NVIDIA app simplifies the process of updating your PC with the latest GeForce Game Ready Drivers while NVIDIA Studio allows you to quickly discover and install NVIDIA applications like GeForce NOW and NVIDIA Broadcast. It also enables you to adjust GPU options, record gameplay, monitor real-time statistics via an on-screen display, enhance games with HDR and filters, and much more.

Lastly, the GeForce Game Ready Driver enables multi-monitor RTX HDR support in the latest NVIDIA app update and makes it Game Ready for MechWarrior 5: Clans, Starship Troopers: Extermination, and THRONE AND LIBERTY. You can download and install the GeForce Game Ready 565.90 WHQL drivers through the GeForce Experience, the beta of the NVIDIA app, or from GeForce.com.
