Monster Hunter Wilds: a new trailer has been released

Capcom continues its extensive marketing campaign, unveiling a new gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, which is set to release on February 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. As usual, you can find the video at the end of this article. This latest trailer reveals the return of the monster Congalala, which first appeared in Monster Hunter 2. Visually, the game looks stunning even at this stage of development, thanks to the excellent optimization work done on the powerful Resident Evil Engine, which is being used for all the latest titles from the company.

According to some rumors, the Japanese giant is reportedly working on the yet-to-be-announced remake of Resident Evil Code Veronica, while Resident Evil 9 is currently in development, even though it has not been officially announced yet. We can only wait for official communications from the publisher regarding Monster Hunter Wilds and the two aforementioned installments of the Resident Evil saga. Yesterday, the 2024 edition of the Tokyo Game Show officially came to a close.
