Pokémon Sleep is now compatible with smartwatches and features playlists on Spotify

The Pokémon Company International has announced that Pokémon Sleep is now compatible with smartwatches from major manufacturers, allowing players to track their sleep sessions and research Pokémon sleep styles more easily. Additionally, a playlist and the official Pokémon Sleep album, featuring 34 tracks from the game, are now available on Spotify.

Here are the details from the official announcement:

  • Pokémon Sleep is now compatible with smartwatches from major manufacturers

Players of Pokémon Sleep can now enjoy an even smoother sleep tracking experience by connecting their smartwatch to the app. This allows them to use the data automatically measured during their sleep sessions. Compatible smartwatches include the Apple Watch, Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch, and Fitbit devices. Sleep data measured on the Apple Watch can be synced to iOS via the Apple Health app, while data from the Galaxy Watch, Google Pixel Watch, or Fitbit can be synced to Android via the Health Connect app.

To celebrate the new compatibility with smartwatches, there are special gifts available for both new players and those who haven’t logged in for a while.

  • Gifts for new players: Trainers who create an account between 3:00 PM (UTC) on Monday, September 23, and 2:59 PM (UTC) on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, will receive 10 Poké Cookies, 1 Bulbasaur Aroma, 1 Charmander Aroma, and 1 Squirtle Aroma.
  • Gifts for returning players: The “returning researchers’ bonus” will be available to players who created an account before 9:00 PM (UTC) on Thursday, August 22, 2024, and who haven’t engaged in sleep research between 3:00 PM (UTC) on August 23 and 4:59 PM (UTC) on September 23, 2024. Eligible players will receive 10 Poké Cookies, 1 Camping Ticket, 1,000 Sleep Points, and 20 S Sweeties.

To mark the occasion, a video titled “Now you can measure sleep with your smartwatch in Pokémon Sleep!” has been released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.

  • The world of Pokémon Sleep is available on Spotify

The soundtrack of Pokémon Sleep is now available on Spotify, in an album that collects 34 tracks. An official Spotify playlist has also been created, featuring a selection of 20 tracks to aid with sleep, three of which are exclusive previews that will only be implemented in Pokémon Sleep in the future. The album and playlist are available for free with a Spotify account, and each track is paired with an image showcasing the sleep styles of different Pokémon. You can listen to the Pokémon Sleep album on Spotify here, while the official Pokémon Sleep playlist is available here.

Remember, the app measures sleep in a fun way, and it can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play.
