Revealed for both consoles at the end of August, the publisher Serenity Forge and the development team Freebird Games have announced the release date for To the Moon on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S: it will launch on October 8.
Additionally, starting today, September 20, the Beach Episode is also available on PC, where the SigCorp crew will embark on a fully paid holiday at the Golden Lobster Hotel & Resort, featuring, as humorously noted on the Steam page:
- A beach
- An episode
- A cozy mix of adventure game elements with classic RPG aesthetics
- Dialogue that reads poorly but sounds delightful
- Platplat the platypus
- Rudog
- Long-cat & Ricebot (?)
Below you can see Serenity Forge’s post on X, announcing the release date for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of To the Moon, as previously mentioned, featuring 4k resolution with framerates up to 120hz and a crisp upscaling of the original pixel art.
