CINIC Games has announced the release date for Extra Coin, a narrative life sim set between the real world and a virtual utopia. The game will be available on PC and Nintendo Switch starting October 8. A trailer has also been released for the occasion, which you can watch at the end of this article.

Below is the description from the Steam page, where you can also download the demo:
Extra Coin is a narrative life sim set between the real world and a virtual utopia: explore the city, engage in activities, and confront your opponents. Will you choose to uphold the Loop or break it to find your parents?
As wars and overpopulation devastated the planet, a lifeline emerged – The Arcade. A virtual world that offered an escape. In this digital utopia, where everything sparkles and seems happy, things appear to run smoothly… or at least, that’s what they want us to believe.
Mika has never trusted The Arcade’s advertisements, unlike her parents, who decided to join in hopes of finding a new life, only to disappear without a trace. Now, however, Mika will be forced to enter The Arcade to find them and uncover the truth behind the glossy facade of this virtual world.
