Minisforum launches the lightweight mini PC UM760 Slim with AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS

According to a recent announcement, great news is on the way for those looking to buy a new PC. Minisforum has unveiled the UM760 Slim, a compact mini PC weighing just 1.48 pounds, which offers efficient cooling for the AMD Ryzen 5 7640H chip. The company has launched its new mini-PC, the UM760 Slim, powered by Zen 4 architecture. The UM760M Slim delivers powerful computing performance in a chassis that fits in the palm of your hand.

The UM760 Slim is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS APU based on Zen 4, a 6-core/12-thread processor with a clock speed of 4.3GHz/5GHz (Base/Boost). With a TDP of just 35-54 W, it’s also highly energy-efficient, and thanks to the efficient cooling system, it keeps overheating at bay. Featuring modern connectivity options, it provides high bandwidth for wireless Internet thanks to the WiFi 6E adapter, while also supporting a low-latency wired 5G network. There’s a USB4 port that ensures incredible transfer speeds of up to 40 Gbps, and with multiple USB ports on both the front and back, you can connect to four additional devices.
