Immortal Hunters

Immortal Hunters: the early access release date for the beat ’em up/RPG has been announced

The release date for Immortal Hunters has been announced: the development team Admiral Games and the publisher indie.io have revealed that this beat ’em up with RPG elements, where players face the apocalypse, will be available in early access on Steam starting September 10. To mark the occasion, a new trailer has been released, which you can watch at the end of this article.

Here’s a general description of the game’s story:

For centuries, the Church has ruled humanity in the name of defending against the serpent with a thousand eyes that dwells in the world’s depths. When its Immortal Hunters waged war against the Khemrids, servants of the serpent god, humanity was rallied for the Holy War. All the Cardinals demanded in return was obedience.

As the war raged on, heretics and blasphemers were sent to prisons, ancient texts contradicting the Church’s dogmas were reduced to ashes, and the most faithful were burned. When the Church martyred them, their bodies fed the Sacred Fire, the only thing the Khemrids feared besides the Church’s holy warriors.

All they managed to do was delay the inevitable. The moment the Khemrids launch their final invasion, the Apocalypse is unleashed. Take control of one of the four surviving Hunters among the ruins of the capital and use their unique abilities to navigate through the burning urban landscape, experiencing a story filled with unpredictable events that could save the world!
