After delaying the launch of the MMO title Blue Protocol in the west from 2023 to 2024, Bandai Namco has decided to shut down the game servers on January 18, 2025, but most importantly, announced that it has cancelled the release of the global version of the game. In the west, the release was planned by Amazon Games. Blue Protocol was first launched on PC on June 14, 2023, in Japan and later on, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

We had a strong relationship with Amazon Games during the development of Blue Protocol, and both of our teams are disappointed that we will not be able to deliver the game to players around the world.
