Replaced: Postponed to 2025

Sad Cat Studio announced via its official X account that the release of Replaced will be postponed to 2025.

The team stated: “Developing Replaced is proving to be a real challenge for us; for this reason, we have decided to delay the launch of the game until next year.”, additionally stating that “Our initial estimates regarding the release date were too optimistic, and we apologize for this misjudgment, but we have very high quality standards that we hope the extra time gained from the delay will allow us to achieve, in order to deliver a title that meets players’ expectations.”

Replaced will be available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. Sad Cat Studio also announced that Replaced will have a playable demo along with a surprise at the upcoming Gamescom in Cologne, which will take place from August 21 to 25.

Currently, there is no further information about the upcoming surprise, although it could very well be a new trailer; however, this is just a guess without any official confirmation, so it should be taken with due caution.
