Mini PC AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” Expected October Release

Today, it was revealed that the first Mini PCs with AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” APU are expected to be released in October, according to AOOSTAR. The AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” APU has made its debut on the market a few weeks ago and has shown the world its strong CPU, GPU, and NPU capabilities. The manufacturer claims to already have the motherboard ready for its Mini PCs, but no CPU has yet been sent for testing. The manufacturer also states that the Mini PCs will support both SODIMM and soldered DDR5 memory.

AOOSTAR also claims that its Mini PC GEM13 will be a disruptive product. Based on what we know, the AMD Ryzen AI 300 “Strix” APU features up to 12 “Zen 5” CPU cores, up to 16 “RDNA 3.5” GPU cores, and an “XDNA 2” NPU. With adequate cooling and the extra power offered by the Mini PCs, we can expect the chip to be a beast and a massive upgrade compared to the Ryzen 7040/8040 series.
