TEKKEN 8 welcomes Lidia Sobieska, the new playable character available as downloadable content, expanding the roster to 34 fighters. Also known as the “Warrior Prime Minister” of Poland, Lidia Sobieska continues her battle for justice in TEKKEN 8. Her bold political stance and refusal to yield to injustices have earned her the trust of many people around the world. A new update for the fighting game has recently been released.
Lidia was the Prime Minister of Poland in the previous game and a practitioner of Karate. She participated in the Iron Fist Tournament after Heihachi Mishima refused to remove the Tekken Force from her country. Earlier this week, Bandai Namco also announced the next character that will be available this fall, unveiling the DLC “The King of Iron Fist Resurrection”, which will bring Heihachi back in a new free expansion of the Story mode, adding him to the roster.

TEKKEN 8, the brand new chapter of the legendary TEKKEN series, brings the fight to the new generation. Developed on Unreal Engine 5 and available exclusively on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, TEKKEN 8 pushes the hardware and technology of the new generation to its limits.
