Stalker 2: the development team is committed to monitoring feedback and quickly addressing any issues

Today, November 20, marks the release day of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the highly anticipated sequel to the FPS developed by the Ukrainian team GSC Game World. However, players have encountered various technical issues, prompting the development team to publish a post on their social channels informing that they are actively monitoring feedback to address these problems. In the post, after discussing the challenges they faced in completing such a project over the past seven years in their country, they emphasized that they are already working to resolve the initial issues and will be releasing hotfixes in the coming days with “the utmost precision and frequency.” More extensive updates will follow in the future. A roadmap will also be shared in December.

Below is an excerpt from GSC Game World’s message regarding the problem-solving efforts:

“However, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is a massive game. We understand that in a game of this scale, there can be rough edges: we have never published anything of this magnitude before. We are fully committed to being present, monitoring your feedback, and swiftly addressing any issue that requires our attention. In the first days after the release, we will work on hotfixes, delivering them with the utmost accuracy and frequency. Then, we will move on to broader updates that will include constant improvements. There will also be free game content, and we will share the roadmap for that later in December.
We have big plans for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. In a way, today is both a return and the start of a grand new journey.
We are fortunate to have had you with us before, and we are thankful to have you now. The Zone belongs to you. Enjoy.
Have fun.”

Below is the post on X, reminding you that Stalker 2 is available on PC and Xbox Series X/S, also via Game Pass.
