Electronic Arts has released the upcoming updates for EA SPORTS NHL 25, a hockey game available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Among the new features, the company announced a multi-year partnership with the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL). With its launch on December 5, the PWHL in NHL 25 will include all six teams – Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, Montréal Victoire, New York Sirens, Ottawa Charge, and Toronto Sceptres in Play Now, Online Versus, Shootout, and Season modes. PWHL uniforms will also be available in World of Chel, with players, logos, and uniforms featured in Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT).
Starting November 15, the NHL Arcade event series will be available, offering players a 3-on-3 arcade-style experience. Additionally, 4 Nations Face-Off will be integrated, a round-robin tournament hosted by the NHL and NHLPA featuring four international teams filled with superstars.
