Dragon Age The Veilguard is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with Electronic Arts and BioWare announcing the first patch for the game coming soon. Although the title initially seemed promising, sales have reportedly not met expectations so far, according to the latest information. As reported by Christopher Dring from GamesIndustry, sales of Dragon Age The Veilguard in the UK are similar to those of Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Below is an overview of the game from the official website:
Gather the Veilguard and challenge the gods in an immersive single-player RPG. Step into the shoes of Rook, the protagonist of the new Dragon Age. Become who you want and play as you wish while engaging in the fight and leading your team of seven companions, each with their own rich backstory. Together, you will become the Veilguard. Form a team of 7 companions, each with lived experiences and complex pasts. These are characters to befriend and even fall in love with. Among them are an assassin, a necromancer, and an investigator, each with unique experiences and skills. Choose from different races and combat classes, customize your appearance, determine your character’s backstory, and embark on your journey as Rook, the new heroic incarnation of Dragon Age. Factions play a pivotal role in Thedas: one of them could prove to be a valuable ally during your story. Your faction choice will influence Rook’s backstory, conversation options, and potentially the balance of power in this divided continent.

I talked about it on the podcast that’s just gone up. Did almost exactly the same (in the UK) as Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. It’s hard to know what EA’s expectations were, but it seems fine. It’s not earth shattering, but it isn’t terrible
