According to Pure Xbox, pre-loading for Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl is now available on Xbox Series X/S. The game is set to be released on November 20, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam. Heart of Chornobyl is set 15 years after the events of Call of Pripyat. Recently, the game reached gold status.
The game focuses mainly on new characters, but veterans of the Zone, like Monolith Renegade Strider and Clear Sky protagonist Scar, will also play significant roles. The inhabitants of the Zone in STALKER 2 are no longer the carefree adventurers or idealistic defenders introduced in Shadow of Chernobyl. Spending over a decade rolling in radioactive mud has changed them, even if the Zone appears the same on the surface.

The Chernobyl exclusion zone has changed drastically since the second explosion in 2006. Violent mutants, lethal anomalies, and warring factions have made the Zone a treacherous place to survive.
