G.I. Joe: Wrath of Cobra announced for console release date

indie.io has announced the release date of G.I. Joe Wrath of Cobra for consoles on its YouTube channel.
The title is a retro side-scrolling beat ’em up that revives the 1980s G.I. Joe universe, putting you in the shoes of iconic heroes like Duke, Scarlett, Roadblock, Snake Eyes, and many others. The mission is straightforward: stop Cobra at all costs. Players will face hordes of enemies, from Cobra soldiers to Vipers, from Crimson Guards to menacing mechanical foes. The battle will pit them against the major figures of the enemy faction, including Destro, Serpentor, Baroness, and the fearsome Cobra Commander. Players can choose to engage in close combat with devastating combos and unique moves or keep their distance, utilizing an arsenal of weapons that allow for precise strikes against enemies. Each G.I. JOE hero has distinctive skills and techniques that enable players to confront Cobra troops in various ways, ensuring an exciting and dynamic gameplay experience.
G.I. Joe Wrath of Cobra will be released on November 21, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The title is already available for PC via Steam, Epic Games, and GOG.
