Tony Todd, the American actor known for playing Candyman in the 1992 film of the same name and Kurn in the Star Trek series, passed away at the age of 69. Throughout his long career, he also ventured into the world of video games, involved in titles related to the aforementioned sci-fi saga, as well as Half-Life, where he returned in 2020 to reprise his role as the Vortigaunts in Alyx, and most recently in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, lending his voice to Venom. He was nominated for the BAFTA Game Awards 2024 in the Performer in a Supporting Role category.
