Magic: The Gathering – Here’s the collaboration with Final Fantasy

Wizards of the Coast has announced, through a new video, the collaboration between the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering and Square Enix’s JRPG series Final Fantasy. The set will include all chapters of Final Fantasy up to XVI and will be available from June 13, 2025.

In the presentation video, Shoichi Ichikawa, the producer of the Final Fantasy series, and Zakeel Gordon, offered a first look at the booster set for the collaboration between Magic and Final Fantasy, showcasing some cards (which you can find below) featuring the most beloved characters from the series. The sixteen main games of the beloved RPG series “FINAL FANTASY” and its unforgettable characters, items, and moments are now available in Magic: The Gathering! Cast powerful spells, summon iconic summons, and visit your favourite locations on the back of a chocobo. Countless elements from those games are here for you to create your story!

The collaboration between Magic and the Final Fantasy series will be available starting June 13, 2025. Stay tuned for more information.
