Recent revelations indicate that NVIDIA’s next-generation Blackwell Ultra GPUs for AI computing will adopt the branding B300 and feature updated HBM3e specifications. According to TrendForce, the Blackwell Ultra line-up will transition to a new convention called the B300 series, which is a relatively compact label. Under this branding, the AI accelerator B200 Ultra and the AI server GB200 Ultra will be renamed to B300 and GB300, respectively, and a similar case will apply to the “A” series AI products, such as the B200A Ultra. It’s interesting to note that the originally planned B200A series by NVIDIA will not be hitting the market. The B200A series will now be adapted with the launch of the B300 line, carrying the label B300A “Blackwell Ultra,” which is hoped to attract enterprise customers who don’t want to go big when building their AI computing power.
NVIDIA’s current Blackwell portfolio has been sold out for the next 12 months and is experiencing an incredible adoption rate driven by overwhelming demand. The company is expected to generate billion-dollar revenues in the coming quarter, with even more anticipated at the start of 2025.
