Metal Slug Tactics

Metal Slug Tactics: release date announced.

It was known that it was set to release in autumn, but the exact day was still a mystery: Leikir Studio, Dotemu, and Gamera Games have now announced that the strategic title set in the renowned run-and-gun series will be available starting November 5 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. On this occasion, a new trailer has been released, which you can watch below, showcasing three additional playable characters, the legendary Ikari warriors: Clark, Ralf, and Leona. Further details about these characters and a gallery with new screenshots are provided below.

Here are the details about the characters:

  • Clark Still: From the Ikari Warriors series and previously playable in Metal Slug 6, Clark’s immense strength and fighting experience allow this tank-like ally to push enemies across the map and inflict wide-area damage that affects status.
  • Ralf Jones: Ralf, returning to battle from the Ikari Warriors series and Metal Slug 6, is a master of close combat, delivering devastating punches and the ability to charge at enemies like a raging bull.
  • Leona Heidern: The newest member of the Ikari Warriors, Leona is a revered fighter capable of replacing fallen enemies with allied decoys; she can distract and overwhelm enemy forces with her unique approach to dominate the battlefield.

Today, a physical release of Metal Slug Tactics has also been confirmed; players will receive more information on where to purchase their copy later. The soundtrack for Metal Slug Tactics, composed by Tee Lopes (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Sonic Mania, Streets of Rage 4 DLC Mr. X Nightmare), has also been confirmed for the release day. It will be available on Steam and on vinyl, thanks to Kid Katana Records.
