After a playable version of Boulder Dash 40th Anniversary wowed fans at gamescom in August, BBG Entertainment is now revealing details about the launch for the first time: The release of a free demo version on Steam for PC and Mac is planned for December. The launch of the full game for PC, Mac, Switch, Xbox and PlayStation is scheduled for Q1 2024.
In addition to all the levels from Boulder Dash, Boulder Dash 2 and Boulder Dash 3, the best levels from Boulder Dash fans around the world will also be released. BBG Entertainment has set up a Discord channel specifically for this purpose, where you can submit your levels or read the latest development news.

We’re celebrating the 40th anniversary of the 8-bit classic with a brand new version that will include over 80 new levels alongside the 60 original levels from Boulder Dash, Boulder Dash 2 and Boulder Dash 3, including the best levels from the global Boulder Dash community, who we’re calling on to send us their masterpieces”
