Hazelight Studios' It Takes Two

It Takes Two reaches 20 million copies sold

It Takes Two, one of the most acclaimed titles recently, has achieved 20 million copies sold. The announcement was made by Hazelight Studios through their social media profiles.

Published by Electronic Arts under the EA Originals label, the game was released on March 26, 2021, for PC (Steam and Origin), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and later made its way to Nintendo Switch on November 4, 2022. In March of this year, the figure stood at 16 million, which means that in these seven months, an impressive 4 million copies have been added.

In this title, which combines many genres starting from platform adventure, players take on the roles of Cody and May, a couple in crisis: two humans transformed into dolls by a spell. Trapped in a fantastical world full of unpredictable quirks, they must overcome every challenge together to save their troubled relationship.

We will also be watching for Hazelight Studios’ plans, as team founder Josef Fares hinted back in April that he would announce “some really cool new things” during the year.
