The development team Team GrisGris has just announced that Corpse Party 2: Darkness Distortion has been postponed to 2025, meaning it will no longer be released in 2024 as initially planned. The game will launch on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, while there are no details yet regarding a possible release on current-gen consoles. The same goes for a retail edition; for now, the game will only be available in digital format. Below is a list of the title’s main features.
— Follow the story of three high school friends.
— Lore inspired by Japanese horror imagery.
— Storytelling reminiscent of visual novels.
— Campaign mode, consisting of six chapters.
According to the company’s statement, this delay is due to their need for more time to polish the game than initially anticipated.
