In Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess, the new IP from Capcom released on July 19, there are three new updates regarding gameplay and digital content, including:
- New quality-of-life features that enhance and improve every match
- Official release of the game’s original soundtrack
- A look at the game’s development with two new additions to the “Behind the Scenes” video series
New gameplay improvements
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess continues to enhance its gameplay with 15 quality-of-life features and modifications added across all platforms, including:
- Villagers can now be upgraded to multiple levels at once
- Increased variety of cats and dogs in the bases
- Tracks from Okami have been added to the Musician
- An option has been added to change Yoshiro’s pose in photo mode.

Original soundtrack now available
The original soundtrack for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is now available on Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon Music. The album contains 53 unique tracks in a Japanese style, many composed by the popular Japanese composer Chikara Aoshima and arranged by renowned musicians.
Each track immerses players deeper into the eerie game universe thanks to the use of analog audio processing and the Dynamic Processing System.

Behind the scenes with the developers
Get an in-depth look at the character and music development process of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess with two new special mini-documentaries behind the scenes on YouTube (“Characters”, “Music”).
The video “Characters” takes us directly into the development studio to see how the game costumes and the unique Fury movements were created live, along with how the traditional Japanese purification dance of Kagura was recorded using motion capture. Listen to interviews with Scene Supervisor Saori Izawa, Motion Actor Tsugumi Mugino, and Costume Creator Emi Uchino to learn more directly from the developers!
The video “Music” shows the performance and recording of the game’s music in Berlin, Germany, alongside interviews with the development team, composer Chikara Aoshima, and singer-songwriter ermhoi!
