Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet: 7-Star Tera Raid of Infernape Announced

The Pokémon Company has announced, via @SerebiiNet, that the next 7-star Tera Raid Battle in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will take place from October 4 to October 6, and then again from October 11 to October 13. The spotlight will be on Infernape. Here’s the announcement:

The next 7 Star Tera Raid Battle has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This event features a battle against an Infernape with the Rock Tera Type and the Strongest Mark. It can be captured only once per save file. This event will occur from October 4 to October 6, and again from October 11 to October 13, with Blissey joining for the second time.

After traversing Victory Road, the Legendary Path, the Stardust Boulevard, and the serene natural expanses of Nordivia, Part 2: The Indigo Disk offers intriguing and challenging Pokémon encounters. In the Indigo Disk, you will visit the Blueberry Academy as an exchange student and explore the Bioterarium. Each of the four biomes in the Bioterarium houses distinct Pokémon and has its own climate and ecosystem to explore. The main feature of this unusual school is its focus on Pokémon battles beneath the ocean. Below is an overview of the two titles from the official site:

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the first open-world RPGs in the Pokémon series. You’ll enjoy the series staples (encountering Pokémon, teaming up or battling with them, training and trading) while immersing yourself in a new and exciting type of adventure. In this new journey, there are two different Professors; which one you meet will depend on the version of the game you choose. You will become acquainted with two different Professors (depending on the version of the game chosen) and Nemi, your new friend.
