The long-awaited day for those looking to preorder the PS5 Pro has finally arrived. Following the recent leak, Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that starting today, Thursday, September 26, 2024, preorders for the new mid-gen console will be available. Of course, preorders for the new hardware will also open officially in Italy. However, as we know, for at least 2 weeks, PS5 Pro preorders will only be possible through PlayStation Direct.
For those who might not know, PlayStation Direct, accessible from Italy as well, is Sony’s direct online store where gamers can purchase PlayStation products directly, without going through other physical or online retailers. At the moment, though, we still don’t know the exact time when the console will be available for preorder.
If you have a preferred retailer (like Amazon or GameStop), you will have to wait until October 10 to preorder the PS5 Pro, and it will also be important to see how much stock of the hardware will be available at these stores.
Remember that the PlayStation 5 Pro will be launched at a price of 799.99 euros, a price that does not include the disc drive, which can be purchased separately for 119.99 euros. Additionally, the package will not include the vertical stand, which is also sold separately for 29.99 euros.
