In a recent interview, the game director of Dragon Age The Veilguard, Corinne Busche, revealed that a demo focused solely on character creation has been one of the most requested features so far. However, Corinne wanted to set expectations, explaining that Bioware and Electronic Arts are still discussing the matter. She admitted that it wouldn’t be unreasonable, from her perspective, to follow the example set by Capcom with the demo for Dragon’s Dogma 2.
For now, there’s no confirmation that the demo will definitely be released before the game launch, but the development team and the American publisher are not dismissing the idea outright. Dragon Age The Veilguard is set to be released on October 31, 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. From September 26 to 29, 2024, the new edition of the Tokyo Game Show will take place, so be sure to stay tuned to this virtual space for all future updates. Bioware recently announced that Dragon Age Inquisition was a great commercial success, selling over 12 million copies.
