Recently, Yellow Brick Games unveiled a new trailer for the action-adventure fantasy Eternal Strands, featuring the protagonist Brynn narrating the game’s overall setting in animated form. According to the official social media accounts of the game, this is the opening trailer. It begins by discussing the Enclave, a land that unexpectedly isolated itself from the rest of the world decades ago. Once a powerful hub of magical wonders, it now lies dormant. Having found a way to cross what was thought to be an impenetrable barrier, a group of Weavers, skilled magic users who blend swordplay and sorcery with devastating effects, must uncover the mysteries of this lost land.
The trailer is narrated through the eyes of Brynn, who is writing inside a cart as she approaches an imposing gate surrounded by a wall.
This title marks the debut of Yellow Brick Games, a new indie studio founded by industry veterans led by Mike Laidlaw, known for his work as creative director on the Dragon Age series.
Below you can watch the new trailer for Eternal Strands, featuring music composed by Austin Wintory. The game, revealed in April and showcased at Gamescom with gameplay, will be released in early 2025 (exact date yet to be announced) for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
