PlayStation 5: a new system update has been released

Sony has just rolled out a new system update for PlayStation 5, aimed at resolving the graphical issues and various crashes experienced with Final Fantasy XVI in the previous update. Square-Enix commented on the news, stating they are continuing their investigations in collaboration with Sony to understand why these issues occurred with the last PlayStation 5 update.

So far, no additional information has been released on this matter, so we will have to wait for official communications. From September 26 to 29, 2024, the next edition of the Tokyo Game Show will take place, so stay tuned to these virtual pages for all future updates. Final Fantasy XVI is currently available on PC and PlayStation 5; however, there are no new details regarding the Xbox Series X/S version of the game. It’s not out of the question that some announcements regarding this could come next week during the TGS.
