Arc System Works has published the gameplay trailer and some screenshots of Double Dragon Revive, which will be playable during the Tokyo Game Show 2024. The title was announced in July. The Tokyo Game Show 2024 is an event that will take place in Japan from September 26 to 29 at Makuhari Messe in Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture.

The Double Dragon series has defined the side-scrolling action genre since its arcade debut in 1987. Now it’s back as Double Dragon Revive, thanks to the enthusiastic support of retro gaming fans over the years!

1. Updated and sleek character graphics! Your favourites from the golden age of arcades are brought to life in modern 3D graphics. Powerful enemies from the past return to challenge the Lee brothers.

2. The ultimate side-scrolling action experience! Players traverse the screen horizontally to take down enemies in this beloved genre. Enjoy the same simple, intuitive gameplay, with controls and balancing refined for the modern era. The carefully crafted experience, overseen by staff experienced in fighting titles like Arc System Works, makes it easy for new players to engage right away.

3. Exciting and strategic action! Combat requires adaptability and variety, going beyond simple button-mashing. Deepen your strategy by learning enemy patterns and timing your attacks effectively.
