Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered

State of Play: new “confirmations” are coming, are there more remasters?

Jeff Grubb, a journalist and insider in our industry, after having “predicted” last week the arrival of a new State of Play set for September 24, has decided to double down, providing more substance to his earlier scoop.

In his latest appearance (available in the video linked at the bottom of the article), Grubb not only confirmed the State of Play for Tuesday, September 24, but also stated that in addition to the remastered edition of Horizon Zero Dawn for PlayStation 5 (still unconfirmed), Sony Interactive Entertainment will introduce another remaster of a PlayStation title, although this one is expected to be less exciting for gamers compared to the remake of Aloy’s first adventure. However, the well-known journalist has not disclosed the identity of this second game.

It is worth noting that Jeff Grubb has not always been spot-on with his predictions, but it notes that for several months rumours have been circulating about a supposed PlayStation event scheduled for September, while recently the possibility of a State of Play airing before the start of Tokyo Game Show 2024 has solidified.

Knowing Sony’s modus operandi, we will have to wait until Monday, September 23 to see if the Japanese company will announce a new presentation through its PlayStation Blog. For now, we can only rely on the words of the good Jeff.
