Anyone eagerly awaiting Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, the remake of the iconic JRPG from Square Enix, can breathe a sigh of relief, as the game has reached the highly anticipated Gold stage. This means that the remake will not be delayed further and will hit store shelves and digital platforms on the scheduled date, November 14, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The announcement was made via the official X profile of the series, accompanied by a photo showcasing the delighted Yuji Horii and Masaaki Hayasaka, holding copies of the game that are already ready:

It’s also worth noting that this is not the only remake in the works for the franchise, as Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is currently in development, with its release expected in 2025.
