Xbox Series X/S: compatibility issues have emerged

According to some reports from gamers, it appears there is an issue with installing backward-compatible games from the original Xbox and Xbox 360 on the Xbox Series X/S via disc. Currently, there are no effective solutions available, and players will need to wait for the Xbox team to address the problem.

A few days ago, a similar issue arose but was resolved rapidly through a system update. Microsoft places a high value on preserving video games and backward compatibility, to the extent that the company’s president, Sarah Bond, recently announced the formation of a dedicated internal team for this purpose.

Additionally, the company will launch three new models for the Xbox Series X/S: the white Xbox Series S All-Digital with 1 TB SSD will be available starting October 15, while on October 21, the white Xbox Series X All-Digital with 1 TB will be released at a price of €499.99. Along with the Xbox Series X Special Edition featuring 2 TB of storage. Lastly, we remind you that the new edition of the Tokyo Game Show will take place from September 26 to 29, 2024, where the Redmond giant will also participate in a conference.
