Milepost Zero is available for free on Fallout 76 across all platforms, and it introduces legendary crafting, a new feature for C.A.M.P. called better setups, and combat improvements. Additionally, players will have access to a new series of quests later this month, during which they can load their bramino and start a caravan business in Skyline Valley.
Here are all the official details:
Milepost Zero adds two new gameplay features: legendary crafting and better setups. Legendary crafting allows players to create ideal weapons and armour, providing greater control over the modifications applied to legendary items. Before being able to change the legendary modifications for equipment, players must obtain the modification they wish to create in one of two ways: either by trading the modification with another player or by recycling legendary items that have the desired modification. Additionally, better setups are a new social system that allows players to send, visit, and rate C.A.M.P.s.
Then, later in the month, a new series of quests called Rough Road will arrive, where players will escort caravans across the Shenandoah region, making deliveries and staying vigilant against raiders and creatures. Players will recruit a diverse team of professionals to establish their own personal outpost, where new rewards will be available. More information about the new quest series is available here.
In addition to the new content, Milepost Zero implements various bug fixes and improvements, including combat updates and creature rebalancing. For all the details about the new content and improvements in Milepost Zero, you can read the blog page here.
