Andre Gareis, a solo developer from Germany, has announced his partnership with Dear Villagers to publish Mindcop, a nonlinear detective game where a story mode adventure merges with real-time match-3 puzzles. You play as the infamous Mindcop, who can delve into the minds of suspects to uncover their secrets and reveal their lies. The game is set to launch in Q4 2024 on Steam. To celebrate the partnership, the publisher has released a trailer, which you can watch at the end of the article.

DETECTIVE GAME
Use your Mindcop skills to uncover secrets and expose the lies of people to find the true culprit behind the murder in the town.
MINDSURF
You can attempt to read the thoughts of one of the suspects. By doing so, you’ll engage in a real-time puzzle. Complete it and explore the “Sea of Thoughts” to gather clues and topics for conversations.
TIME
You have 5 days to solve the case, and every action will cost you time. As Mindcop, you must make tough choices: what truly deserves your time, and what will lead you into a dead end? Choose wisely and discover two different endings!
