A few hours ago, the crowdfunding campaign for The Witch’s Bakery launched on Kickstarter. This 2D RPG adventure is being developed by Sunny Lab and tells the story of a witch who opens her bakery in modern Paris. This witch has a special power: she can see into the hearts of people and heal their emotions with magic.
The first funding goal is set at 70,000 euros, and as we write this, approximately 51,000 euros have been raised. The first tier to get the game is 18 euros, with the option to choose either the Steam or Switch version. The campaign will end on October 4, with the game expected to be released by the end of 2025.
To mark the occasion, a new trailer has been released, which you can watch at the bottom of this article.
In the game, the protagonist Lunne has just arrived in the city, and each day is divided into three phases:
- Day, where Lunne manages her bakery and serves customers with her team of friends.
- Evening, where Lunne explores Paris, builds relationships, uncovers the city’s secrets, and delves into the troubled hearts of her friends.
- Night, where Lunne rests, improves her magic, decorates her bakery, and spends time in her cosy workshop.
