Son and Bone, the dinosaur-themed first-person shooter from TeamKill Media (developers of Quantum Error), will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Epic Games Store starting September 4, 2024. To mark the occasion, the developer has released a new post on their official Twitter account announcing the game’s release date. Check it out below. Earlier in August, Team Kill Media released another gameplay trailer for the game.
Unlike Quantum Error’s more cosmic horror approach, the gameplay of Son and Bone is much closer to Serious Sam. Developed on Unreal Engine, the gameplay footage was captured on PC, suggesting a possible future release. Here’s an overview of the game, provided by TeamKill Media:
When a local farm in Patchwork, Montana, is attacked by a group of infamous bandits, Sheriff Sam Judge decides to bring them to justice by any means necessary and rescue the hostage they’ve taken. But on his journey, as he uncovers the mysterious motivations of those he pursues, Sam finds himself transported to another world overrun by prehistoric creatures and dinosaurs, and now he must fight for his life to return to Earth.
