The release date for Clock Tower Rewind for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch has been announced by SUNSOFT.
The title has been translated and distributed for the first time outside of Japan and is a reimagining of the original title that first debuted on SNES, challenging you to explore the unsettling boundaries of the Barrows family mansion. Playing as the orphan Jennifer, the player must explore creepy locations to find items, uncover secrets, and try to escape from Scissorman, a psychopathic murderer armed with scissors. You can play in original mode to relive the title with the graphics and style from its release in 1995, or play in enhanced mode with extra content and improvements.
They have added:
- a new animated introduction
- opening and closing songs
- animated comic book interludes
- an interview with the author
- the art gallery
- border graphics
- data saving and a music player
Clock Tower Rewind will be released on October 31, 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. They have not announced the release date for the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions.
