AOC unveils new QD-OLED gaming monitors: AGON PRO AG276QZD2 and AG326UD

AGON by AOC, one of the world’s leading brands in gaming monitors and IT accessories, has announced the models AG276QZD2 and AG326UD, the latest entries in the AGON PRO series. First presented to the press at gamescom 2024, these cutting-edge gaming monitors feature QD-OLED panels: the AG276QZD2 model, with a 26.7′′ (67.8 cm) display, offers a QHD resolution (25601440) with an esports-level refresh rate of 240 Hz. The AG326UD model, with a 31.5′′ (80 cm) display, provides a crisp UHD resolution (38402160) with an extraordinary refresh rate of 165 Hz, both with incredibly fast response times, up to 0.03 ms GtG.

These professional monitors offer virtually infinite contrast ratios thanks to the pixel illumination of the QD-OLED panels, perfect black levels, and wide colour gamuts, making them an excellent choice for competitive gamers who demand both visual excellence and exceptional performance. The AGON PRO AG276QZD2 and AG326UD utilize advanced QD-OLED panels that deliver unprecedented contrast ratios that are unmatched by traditional LCD monitors, as well as true-to-life colours with perfect blacks and wide viewing angles. The third-generation QD-OLED panels implemented in these models provide improved text clarity and additional QD-OLED care functionalities. Both monitors feature 10-bit colour depth, displaying 1.07 billion colours for incredible visual fidelity, making them extremely versatile for daily and professional use such as content creation, image editing, and more. The ultra-fast response times and low input lag of the displays, along with Adaptive-Sync support (including NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility for the AG276QZD2 model), ensure smooth and responsive gameplay across all genres.

Certified with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and supporting a peak brightness of 1000 nits (in limited areas), both monitors offer stunning graphics and exceptional colour accuracy, resulting in an immersive gaming environment for fast-paced action titles, visually rich role-playing games, or graphically demanding simulations. The wide colour gamut ensures vibrant and realistic colours that bring every frame on the screen to life, making these monitors suitable for both professional use and entertainment. Additionally, both models are covered by a 3-year warranty that includes protection against OLED burn-in.

The new AG276QZD2, featuring a QHD display of 27″ with a refresh rate of 240 Hz, targets esports enthusiasts and FPS gamers who prioritize speed and motion fluidity. The AG326UD, with its UHD display of 31.5″ and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, is perfect for gamers who require high detail and a wider field of view, making it ideal for role-playing, action, strategy, or simulation games and content creation.

The current AGON PRO range also includes other OLED monitors aimed at different gaming audiences. The AGON PRO AG456UCZD features a 44.5″ UWQHD (3440×1440) OLED display with an 800R curvature and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, which envelops users’ field of view for extreme immersion in racing or flight simulation titles. The Porsche Design AGON PRO PD49 boasts a unique and award-winning design inspired by the exterior elements of the Porsche 911, featuring a 48.8′′ DQHD (51201440) QD-OLED panel with a gentle 1800R curvature and a refresh rate of 240 Hz. This effectively replaces a dual 27′′ monitor setup and provides an ultra-wide surface for simulation titles and increased productivity. One of the most affordable OLED models, the AGON PRO AG276QZD uses a 26.5″ W-OLED panel with QHD resolution (2560×1440) and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, particularly suited for fast-paced esports titles such as FPS, MOBA, RPG, or battle royale games.

At this year’s gamescom, AGON by AOC made an additional announcement, alongside the AG276QZD2 and AG326UD monitors. The new AGON PRO AG276QSG2 will be one of the first gaming monitors to feature NVIDIA’s cutting-edge G-SYNC Pulsar technology. It also boasts a 27” (68.58 cm) QHD IPS display with a refresh rate of 360 Hz, delivering exceptional motion clarity along with smooth and uninterrupted gameplay. Gamers no longer have to choose between variable refresh rate and strobe backlight technologies, as they can use both simultaneously with G-SYNC Pulsar. Thanks to this technology, the effective motion clarity of the AG276QSG2 matches that of a remarkable 1440 Hz. To achieve a comparable level of motion clarity without G-SYNC Pulsar, gamers would need to equip themselves with a classic panel capable of 1440 Hz. The availability of the AG276QSG2 is set for 2025.

The AGON PRO AG276QZD2 and AG236UD will be available from September 2024 at a suggested retail price of €699.00 and €849.00 respectively.
