Foamstars: to become free-to-play

Foamstars, the title for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 where you shoot foam on the battlefield, will soon become free-to-play. Released in February of this year and for the first month among the titles of PlayStation Plus, it will be available for free download starting October 4. This was announced by the publisher Square Enix in a statement on the official website.

Furthermore, while a PlayStation Plus subscription was previously required to play, after the price change, users who are not subscribed to the service will still be able to download and play for free.

For those who downloaded the game before this price change, the team is planning to distribute a free “Legacy Gift” that includes these exclusive in-game items: -12 exclusive colour variants for the Bubble Beastie skins -1 exclusive Slide Board design -1 title: “Legacy”.

The game will thus change from its current price of 29.99 euros to being free-to-play starting October 4. Below is the official post on the X account announcing the change.
