It has been announced on the YouTube channel of Atari a new title called Fatal Run 2089, a car game set in a post-apocalyptic world and developed by MNSTR Studio.
After the fall of a comet that poisoned Earth with deadly radiation, the survivors organized into factions of warriors from the wastelands. The player will join the “Engineers,” a group of scientists on a crucial mission: to transport the ARCs, advanced clean energy devices capable of purifying the atmosphere, to the last remaining cities. The game takes place across four distinct global regions. The player will face 20 frenzied levels, characterized by treacherous turns, alternate paths, hidden shortcuts, and destructive scenarios. The player must not only watch the time but also defend against aggressive opponents, using an arsenal of weapons or ramming them off the road with one of seven available vehicles.
Fatal Run 2089 does not have a release date but will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Steam and Epic Games stores.
