BBG Entertainment, the Munich-based game developer and publisher, has a real hit in store for all Intellivision fans: the top-class reboots of the classics Shark! Shark! and Astrosmash for Switch, Xbox, Steam, Windows and Mac will receive an update at the end of September in which the original versions from the 80s will be integrated.
The million-seller Astrosmash, which was released in 1981 and is one of the five best-selling Intellivision games of all time, can then be played for the first time in crystal-clear visuals on flat screens. The original can be selected directly from the main menu. The same applies to the family fun game Shark! Shark! which first conquered the global Intellivision charts in 1982.
The new editions will celebrate their world premiere at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne in the “Retro Area” in Hall 10.2, where BBG Entertainment will be represented with a booth from 21 to 25 August 2014. For a personal test, get in touch via email.
The updates with the original versions will be released at the end of September, the update is free for owners of the current versions. Astrosmash and Shark! Shark! are currently available in the Switch, Xbox, Windows, Steam and Mac online stores.
