A new trailer for Kraven the Hunter, the new film produced by Sony Pictures in association with Marvel, tells the story of Sergei Kravinoff, a character created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1964. He is one of the most beloved villains of the Spider-Man universe. The film, directed by J. C. Chandor, stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Russell Crowe. Kraven – The Hunter, written by Art Marcum, Matt Holloway, and Richard Wenk, will be in theatres only from December 11, produced by Sony Pictures and distributed by Eagle Pictures.
Kraven the Hunter tells the violent story of the birth and fate of one of Marvel’s most iconic villains. Set before his infamous feud against Spider-Man as seen in the comics and in the recent video game, Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays the protagonist of this film. A man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), leads him on a path of brutal revenge, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world but also one of the most feared.
