Fireshine Games has released a video announcing the release date of Shadows of Doubt has been revealed, a sandbox stealth detective game set in a sci-fi noir city.
The game is set in an alternate reality in the “hyper-industrialized” 1980s. Players will have to think and use a variety of gadgets as private investigators, collecting evidence and earning money by solving cases as well as finding and selling information. Players will be able to meet and tail individual citizens, each with their own name, job, apartment, and daily routine, in unique procedurally generated cities. Players can break into apartments, rummage through secret documents, and even breach security systems. In addition to tracking down the source of an object and reviewing CCTV footage from a location.
